View > Sort By > Oldest Message on Top

Or, View > Sort By > Newest Message on Top (the current default & only behavior).

Basically, this should be a user choice, a Sort By item added to the View menu, with two submenus - just like in Apple Mail. Not everyone always wants Newest Message on Top.
